You have probably heard that the CDC now says people who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear masks or practice social distancing indoors or outdoors, except under certain circumstances, This is of course fantastic news, if you are fully vaccinated.
“If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a White House Covid-19 briefing. “We have all longed for this moment when we can get back to some sense of normalcy.”
Dr. Walensky also said that “the past year has shown us that this virus can be unpredictable, so if things get worse, there is always a chance we may need to make a change to these recommendations.” Unvaccinated people remain at risk of mild or severe illness, of death, or spreading the disease to others, and should still mask up and maintain social distancing.

To keep the most amount of people safe, Pawn King will still require masks
We understand that everyone really wants to get back to normal, the best way to get there is together. Since we can’t see who is vaccinated or not, and don’t want to have to ask for vaccine cards at the door, the simplest way to ensure that everyone is kept safe is to continue to require masks in all four Pawn King locations. We’ll be keeping up with our COVID protocols, and we are happy to provide you with a mask at no cost should you not have one.
We appreciate everyone’s continued help in keeping our community healthy and safe! The COVID-19 vaccine is free, and available to anyone age 16 and older.
